20 Minuten and BrainE4 launch a nationwide dialogue on the future of family policy — "Deine Schweiz. Deine Familie."
From 15 July 2026, 20 Minuten invites the entire Swiss population to take part in the largest structured citizen dialogue on family policy to date. Under the title "Deine Schweiz. Deine Familie.", everyone can have their say — with or without children, young or older, urban or rural, of different backgrounds and political persuasions. Participants contribute their own arguments, discuss them, compare them and prioritise them themselves. This anonymous, scientifically grounded stakeholder dialogue is made possible by the idea duel method of the Swiss technology company BrainE4. 20 Minuten accompanies the dialogue editorially and communicates the results exclusively.

"Strengthen the middle class, so that a family of four can get by on one income" — in the largest citizen dialogue on family policy, the Swiss population sets its own priorities
1,758 people took part in the citizen dialogue "Deine Schweiz. Deine Familie." run by 20 Minuten and BrainE4, contributed 1,635 ideas of their own and then weighted them themselves. 20 Minuten published the results on 15 August 2026. The picture is clear: the population is calling for financial relief, compensation for the pension gaps caused by care work, and genuine freedom of choice in family models. For the Swiss technology company BrainE4, the project also marks a successful public market launch in Switzerland.
